This is my file for project 2. It begins with the drum beat alone, then the bass comes in right before the guitars come in. They switch between playing three notes on different positions on the guitar. The drums change to a more up-beat drum beat while the guitars and bass continue. The guitars then break into a solo type pattern while the drums and bass stay constant to keep the time. The guitar has one time alone then another solo happens before breaking back into the verse again, then ends with a quick solo. I tried not to use too many different guitar parts because that would make it too complex.
I liked the drum beats, sounded really good. The main riff was also really good. The solo was my favorite part, very techno sounding. I didn't like the bass parts they sounded like growling and i couldnt really get into them. Other than that great job.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tim that the bass was too busy. The other parts of the song are very different from each other and the transition from one part to the next is rough. If the parts were more closely related, the transitions would be smoother.
